While handmade fabric face covering are NOT a substitution for N95 masks, they are better protection than no protection. The homemade face masks will not prevent against catching a respiratory illness but they can help reduce the spread of large particles when someone sneezes or coughs.

United StatesI am such a fan of Candace's masks. The larger ones fit my partner very well, and he has to wear a mask pretty much all day so fit and comfort are important. I have the smaller ones, which fit my narrow face like many others don't, and I can't tell you how many comments I get on all the cool colors.
